The Cowra & District Relay For Life is a teams based, overnight fundraising event where participants take turns to lap around Sid Kallas Oval in honor of local families affected by cancer.

Welcome to the Relay For Life page on Facebook.
We have created this page as an online community for you to participate in cancer, cancer prevention and related discussions.
We welcome comments, and invite you to add photos and videos as well as share your experiences, thoughts and opinions.
We also encourage open, lively conversation. However we do have few simple house rules:
External, non-Cancer Council links on this site do not constitute official endorsement on behalf of the Cancer Council.
While we encourage fans to share thoughts and opinions on the Facebook page, we expect that this will be done in a respectful manner.
The Cancer Council does not agree with or endorse every comment that individuals post on our pages.
Our goal is to share ideas and information with as many individuals as possible and our policy is to accept the majority of comments made to our profile.
All links posted as comments on the Relay For Life Facebook page will be reviewed and may be deleted.
Repeated violations of these house rules (or comment policy) may cause the author to be blocked from the Facebook page.
A comment will be deleted if it contains:
Hate speech
Profanity, obscenity or vulgarity
Nudity in profile pictures
Defamation to a person or people
Name calling and/or personal attacks,
Comments whose main purpose are to sell a product
Comments that infringe on copyrights
Spam comments, such as the same comment posted repeatedly on a profile
Comments that the Cancer Council may deem inappropriate
We understand that social media is a 24/7 medium however please realise our moderation capabilities are not. We may not see every comment right away or be able to respond.
Likewise we are trusting in the community to ignore personal attacks and respond politely.
